About the Journal
The New Zealand Journal of Mathematics seeks to publish high-quality research papers in diverse areas of pure and applied mathematics. Well-written survey articles are also warmly invited. Papers should be of general interest and of moderate length. The journal is more likely to publish papers on topics that overlap with the interests of the Editorial Board or that are of interest to at least one mathematician in New Zealand.
The New Zealand Journal of Mathematics is owned and published jointly by the New Zealand Mathematical Society and the Department of Mathematics at the University of Auckland. Originally published as the Mathematical Chronicle (1969-1991), the journal has been published as the New Zealand Journal of Mathematics since 1991.
Articles are published open access under a CC-BY licence, so authors retain copyright. There are no author fees and no membership is required in order to submit to or publish in the New Zealand Journal of Mathematics.
The journal has been accepted for inclusion by Scopus, DOAJ and the Free Journal Network.
